2012 - Royal Mint 50p Design Competition
Do you fancy being a part of the legacy of the greatest sporting event in the world? The Royal Mint are currently offering the members of the public a fantastic oppourtunity...to design the London 2012 50p coin that will forever be a part of that legacy.
For your chance to be part of London 2012 and coinage history, you must create a design based around one of 27 sporting which include both Volleyball and Sitting Volleyball.
The closing date for the competition is the 24th April. Each winner will not only see their coin in circulation but recieve a limited edition pack including a Gold version of their own design, and a cash prize of £1000 (not in 50p coins!)
